Private lesson - Date to be defined together

Centered Hands is a hands-on pottery course designed for those who want to slow down and work with care. Rather than relying on force, speed, or muscle, this course focuses on throwing slowly — guided by breathwork and grounding exercises. Forms emerge through steady hands, focused attention, and thoughtful movement.

Inspired by principles of flow and balance, each session offers time and space to engage deeply with the process. We approach wheel work from the inside out — not just shaping clay, but noticing how your breath, posture, and pace influence the outcome. This is a practical, body-aware method that emphasizes patience, sensitivity, and ease.

What You’ll Experience:

  • Private lesson

  • Breathwork and grounding woven into the practice

  • A quiet studio environment that supports focus and clarity

  • Techniques for working with clay through calm, responsive movement

  • A process-oriented approach rooted in balance, rhythm, and adaptability following taoist approach

  • Shaping vessels through internal awareness rather than external pressure

  • An opportunity to build skill while developing a more relaxed, attentive way of working

  • You have the option to share the course with one other person . However, based on our experience, we recommend attending alone — individual participation tends to lead to better results. If you choose to share the course, simply book one spot and let me know by email.

Centered Hands is ideal for beginners and experienced potters alike — anyone interested in exploring pottery at a slower pace, with space to focus, feel, and create in a more grounded way.

The first 500g are included in the price and will be finished with a transparent glaze. If you would like another color or additional clay, the prices listed in the Conditions below apply.
